Spesifikasi dan Harga Tablet Advan Vandroid T1Ci

Windows Smartphone Terbaru Dari Nokia



Setelah sempat terpuruk kini Nokia kembali menancapkan taringnya di ranah smartphone yang saat ini didominasi oleh android smartphone. Nokia yang kini mengusung windows smartphone memang belum berhasil menggeser Samsung yang menjadi penguasa smartphone berkat android smartphone yang mereka usung. Untuk mematahkan dominasi Samsung makan diluncurkan Lumia 630 dan Lumia 635 yang menjadi windows smartphone terbaru dari Nokia yang mengusung OS Windows Phone 8.1.
Layar
Di sektor layar kedua windows smartphone ini menggunakan layar sebesar 4,5 inci. Ukura layar tersebut merupakan ukuran layar yang dirasa cukup ideal karena tidak terlalu besar dan juga tidak terlalu kecil. Pada Nokia Lumia 630 dan Nokia Lumia 635 sama-sama menggunakan layar IPS LCD sehingga tampilan layar dari kedua smartphone ini cukup jernih dan terlihat lebih hidup. Berkat teknologi ClearBlack maka anda tidak akan merasakan kesulitan saat menggunakan kedua smartphone ini di bawah sinar matahari sebab teknologi ClearBlack tersebut membuat refleksi cahaya yang masuk menjadi lebih baik termasuk saat digunakan di bawah sinar matahari.
Prosesor

Cukup disayangkan kapasitas memori RAM dari kedua smartphone hanya sebesar 512 MB. Untuk kapasitas memori internal yaitu sebesar 8 GB dan disematkan juga slot memori eksternal yang mampu diberikan Micro SD hingga 64 GB. Tetapi secara keseluruhan kinerja dari Nokia Lumia 630 dan Nokia Lumia 635 sangat memuaskan.
Kamera
Pada sektor kamera kedua smartphone besutan Nokia ini menggunakan kamera dengan resolusi 5 MP, 2592 x 1944 pixels. Sayang pada smartphone ini tidak dilengkapi dengan kamera sekunder. Kamera pada Nokia Lumia 630 dan Nokia Lumia 635 sudah dilengkapi autofokus dan dapat digunakan untuk mode pengambilan gambar panorama. Kedua smartphone ini memiliki kemampuan merekam hingga 720p@30fps. Tidak adanya lampu flash memang menyulitkan saat mengambil gambar atau rekaman pada kondisi yang minim cahaya.
Fitur
Nokia Lumia 630 dan Nokia Lumia 635 memiliki sensor accelerometer dan dibekali FM Radio. Bagi anda yang suka bepergian tidak perlu khawatir tersesat sebab kedua smartphone ini memiliki fitur A-GPS. Snap! Without Tears

Using the card game Snap! with younger learners of EFL/ESL is certainly not an original idea – if you search the web you’ll find lots of different versions. It’s a game which can get a bit chaotic though, with arguments breaking out over who said Snap! first. In this version I’ve tried to take the chaos out by saying that only the person who lays down the matching card has the right to call Snap!

Preparation

The game aims to consolidate a small amount of already known vocabulary. Choose ten pictures (1) showing objects or actions which students have met before but which you wish to consolidate. For example, if you have presented a specific lexical field (animals, toys, food etc) the lesson before, choose pictures of those things. Or if you think pupils are forgetting lexis taught earlier in the course, choose a random set of those things. The pictures should fit on a card about 5 x 6 cms.

For each group of six students, make six photocopies of each picture, cut them out and stick them on stiff card. Laminate them if possible.

The Game
  • Show the class each of the ten cards in turn and check that they remember the names. Write them on the board if necessary.

  • Divide the pupils into groups of five or six, and give one pack of cards to each group.

  • The cards (well-shuffled) are dealt out to the players who place them face down on the table in front of them. In turn, each pupil turns over their top card and places it on the centre pile, saying the name (a bear, a horse etc) or sentence (He’s watching TV) at the same time. If the picture is the same as the preceding card, the child also says Snap! and takes all the cards, which they place at the bottom of their pile. Each child drops out of the game when they have finished all their cards, and the winner is the last child left in the game. If you want the game to go on for a while, the early losers can form another group and start again. This keeps everyone occupied.

They them and their singular or plural


Words like they, them and their are usually taught to students as having a third person plural meaning. But look at the following sentences :


  • If someone from the insurance company calls, tell them that they can come and see me tomorrow.
  • If a teacher only ever read from the textbooks, their lessons wouldn’t be very interesting.
  • I never refuse to mark a student’s work just because they don’t give it in on time.

Here, they, them and their are clearly third person singular. Why?

In these examples, neither he/him/his nor she/her/her is possible because we do not know the sex of the person referred to – it could be either a man or a woman. When this is the case, they/them/their is frequently used as a “neutral” singular pronoun. The following verb, however, remains grammatically plural : RIGHT - they don’t give it in WRONG - they doesn’t give it in.

Sometimes the problem can be avoided by putting the noun referred to in the plural, at which point they is used normally : I never refuse to mark students work just because they dont give it in on time. But when the noun is someone or anyone, this is not an option. The only alternative is to use he or she (often abbreviated to s/he), his or her etc and this can often sound clumsy - If someone from the insurance company calls, tell him or her that he or she can come and see me tomorrow.

This use comes up frequently in the instructions to pairwork activities - Ask your partner if they have ever ridden a camel. Ask your partner about their childhood - and can be pointed out when it occurs. Students can then be given an activity where they have to choose an appropriate reference word to complete a sentence :

  • Janet left you a message but I dont know where they/she/he put it.
  • Ive no idea who left the message. I didnt see her/him /them.
  • David has lost his/her/their keys again.
  • Look! Somebody has lost her/his/their keys.
  • We need to advertise for a new Marketing Manager. He /She/ They will have to be available immediately.
  • The new Marketing Manager arrived yesterday. His /Her /Their name is Annette.

Instead of giving the options, the exercise could be made slightly more difficult by simply leaving a blank for the students to complete.
